Shauna Stuart: Multimedia Journalist

Shauna Stuart is a multimedia journalist. She cut her teeth in the broadcast journalism world when she got her first internship at National Public Radio with “All Things Considered.” Since her days at NPR, Shauna has interned at  both radio and television news organizations, including NBC4 in Washington, D.C, Soundprint Media Center, Inc, and WXIA/ 11-Alive News in Atlanta.  Shauna also participated in the 2009 NABJ Student Multimedia Project.

At University of Maryland, Shauna worked in the communications office where she shot, edited, and wrote video packages for the UMD website.  In Fall 2009, she reported for Terp Weekly Edition, the campus radio newsmagazine. She also co-hosts a radio show  called “BeautyShop” on University of Maryland’s student run radio station WMUC.
